Bayberry Clinic Recovery Centre

Welcome to Bayberry. The fact that you are accessing our website may mean that you or a loved one is suffering from the destructive effects of addiction.  If this is the case, please know that addiction can be arrested and Bayberry is a place where people come to do just that.

What happens?

The Bayberry treatment team is dedicated to the process of recovery from addiction to drugs and alcohol and co-occuring mood disorders, including depression, anxiety and the bipolar condition.  We also work with past trauma, impulse-control difficulties like pathological gambling, work and sex addiction, eating disorders, relationship dysfunction and co-dependency. You will address underlying issues that support addictions and mood problems, as well as the maladaptive attitudes, perceptions and beliefs that may cause a return to self-destructive behaviors.

Where does it happen?

In rural Oxfordshire, just outside Bicester. Please take some time to learn more about the recovery program offered at Bayberry by accessing other pages of our website, contacting us by completing our contact form, or by calling us on 07734049809 . Admission counsellors are available to answer your questions 24-hours a day, seven days a week.

Why come?

You will come for recovery. You feel a need to change your life! More importantly you want to change your life!
In active addiction we know that is tough. Almost all of us have required help to start. Recovery is a no brainer when "Sick and Tired" of being "Sick and Tired". It is available to all who seek it. Recovery changes everyone who embraces it and it is contagious.

Getting Better!

The Bayberry definition of Recovery is, at its simplest, a personal desire to "get better". We  help  you engage with a way of life that has worked in the lives of  millions for decades. Today's research has confirmed that this way of life gets people "better than well". There are many in the local recovery communities in Oxfordshire who would bear witness to this fact. You will meet many of them while at Bayberry who will support you on your own journey to achieve life long recovery

How it happens.

Bayberry provides an experience of a new way to live with spirituality at the core. Simply, this means "Doing the Right Thing for the Right Reason in All Our Affairs". Our valued and respected community offer the tools to change lives. Honesty, Openmindedness, Willingness to change, and the practice of Kindness, are simple examples of spiritual qualities that are the only requirements to make a start. Every member of staff and all residents are encouraged to centre their lives in this way. In a therapeutic recovery community you will work with staff and facilitators with hard-earned personal experience of recovery from addictions and mood disorders, as well as your like minded peers.

Our Pledge

Bayberry offers a safe, secure environment free of alcohol  drugs and acting out behaviour for the adult alcoholic or addict who wishes to recover and experience permanent sobriety. Our experience is that alcoholism and drug addiction are lifelong, chronic, progressive illnesses which demand a lifelong set of practices as a way of living if we are to experience permanent recovery.

Our pledge to all our residents is this: We will provide you a set of life skills, thinking tools and spiritual practices which you will internalize into your hearts and minds in recreating and reclaiming your life.
