How we work at the Bayberry Clinic

Bayberry historically started as the only treatment provider in the UK, solely for health professionals. Our program was based on the standard North American program which produces 5 year sobriety outcomes in excess of 89 per cent.

Maybe your career, practice or professional registration is on the line. Maybe you are a veterinarian who diverted Ketamine, an anaesthetist who has been using Fentanyl, a midwife that has been using entonox or a pharmacist who has diverted medication for their own use.

Maybe you have not been caught yet and are trying desperately to ringfence your work, but possibly experiencing increasing difficulties in your personal and social life as a result of your drug or/and alcohol use.

At the Bayberry Clinic we place high emphasis on confidentiality and independence from regulatory bodies to make a real contribution to your healing. Here you will form part of a dedicated professional programme where you can be honest about your feelings and thoughts in a group of peers. You will be given the chance to let go of shame and guilt, to know that you will be deeply understood and that you are not alone.

At the Bayberry Clinic you will also have access to experts in the field of substance dependency in healthcare professionals and we offer a family programme and montly family support groups run by experts who are family members themselves of healthcare professionals in recovery.
